Many people are trying to make money online these days, all looking for that step ladder out of our normal nine to five job. The problem is that so many are trying the same boring systems, an idea gets posted on the internet and within a matter of only a few days the new money making venture is saturated.

What we all need to search for is a niche idea, an avenue that has not been tried before. The problem is, that while you are looking you can guarantee that thousands of others are doing just the same.

Many have tried black hat methods to try to raise there blogs or website higher in the search engines, only to find that the same search engines will penalise black hat methods and the blog or website then becomes useless.

Many experts say that when trying to raise a blog or website page rank that content is king, this is true to a certain extent but the content needs to be useful and duplicate free. Other's say that gaining links is the key to success, this again may be true but these back links need to be quality links, preferably from authority sites. The only way to do this is, write quality articles or make consistent high quality comments.

Building a website these days is very easy and many people who have basic knowledge of a computer can now build a website. There are many quality website building software packages on the internet now, many are (wysiwyg) What You See Is What You Get. The quality of these packages are so good that many people may have thought you created using Dream weaver or some other high technical website building tools.

If you do try and build blogs or a website, try adding some affiliate links or pay per click adverts on your website or sell some e books or even sell your own e book, there are many items you can sell through your website or you could try linking from your own homepage straight to an affiliate sales page.

Remember building a website is easy to do, the hard part is getting this site known and you may be competing against thousands of others. The only way to get your website known to the world is with physical effort, be prepared for some hard work. As in the real world, unless you do not work you will not get paid and the harder you work at promoting a website the better it will do in the search engine. Forget about easy money if it sounds to good to be true it more than likely is.
